Antique Candle Co.

As a member of Purdue's UX program, I had the opportunity to collaborate with a team of fellow students on a project sponsored by the Antique Candle Company. Founded in Lafayette, IN, the Antique Candle Company primarily generates revenue through its e-commerce operations. Our project's objective was to enhance the customer journey and overall experience on their fragrances page, a challenging task given that online customers can't physically smell the candles they purchase.

Over the course of 3 months, we were able to complete the tasks given to us and successfully collaborate with Antique Candle Co. executives. They mentored us weekly and directed us towards their style and design preferences. Our final project deliverables encompassed high-fidelity interactive prototypes for the redesigned fragrance page and checkout process, accompanied by comprehensive documentation of our research, ideation, iterative design process, and testing phases. In my role, I actively contributed to the development of low, mid, and high-fidelity mockups and played a key role in creating the interactive prototypes. Furthermore, I collaborated closely with my team members on various research and testing initiatives, and learned a lot in the process!
